About

Hand to Heart OT is a pediatric therapy practice in NE Portland specializing in sensory processing, regulation, and neurodevelopmental differences. My unique garden-based setting supports both children and caregivers: while children engage in therapy, caregivers are encouraged to recharge in heated outdoor spaces (including access to a barrel sauna), helping regulate their own nervous systems. Using a holistic, relationship-driven approach, I blend evidence-based modalities with a targeted focus on self-compassion, resilience, and building inner confidence—empowering children to thrive at home, in school, and with peers. Private pay only; superbills available upon request. Note: As of March 2026, Hand to Heart OT has a 9-12 month wait-list for new clients. After school therapy times are generally available within 9-12 months of starting services, be aware these times are not available for new clients at this time. Please request appointment below if interested in discussing services. I look forward to connecting with you!

-Debbie, Existing Client

“After a difficult kindergarten year, our son started with Becca. The impact of her work with our family has been nothing short of incredible. A bit less than a year later, we now have the tools we need & our child is happier, more self-conscious, & confident. ”

-PH, current client

“We initially sought help with emotional regulation/sensory needs. In the last year, my child has grown much more than expected! Our family now has more connection, joy and peace. The garden sanctuary she has created for her clients is a sweet cherry on top.”
