At Hand to Heart OT, I desire to empower children with neurodiversity to greater self awareness of their strengths as well as to help identify their unique needs. My personal philosophy blends sensory integration, polyvagal theory, attachment theory, mindfulness, DIR/Floortime, and motor learning theory to help children to “come home” and experience success within their own bodies. In helping connect children to their bodies, we help them to better advocate for what they need and ultimately, enable greater participation in home, school and social environments.
With 18 years of practice across school based, early intervention, and outpatient pediatric settings, I have the experience and passion to bring families comprehensive and compassionate services for children who experience autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, executive functioning deficits, anxiety, motor delays, social and/or behavioral challenges.
Hand to Heart OT does not accept nor bill insurance. Home-based services are private pay; superbill available per request.
**Note: As of March 2025 Hand to Heart OT has a 3-6 month wait time for in-home services for new clients, depending on your location in Portland and flexibility for mid-day appointments. Contact me to inquire about evaluation spots available for May/June 2025. **
